Body Stories is off to Alberta

fullsizeoutput_299cBody Stories is honoured to be presenting their new work, Human Landscapes, at the 36th Annual Alberta Dance Festival: Dancing Home – A Celebration of Canadian Artists. Presented by Dancers’ Studio West, the festival is presenting 11 new works by emerging and established choreographers.

Human Landscapes, choreographed by Candice Irwin and performed by Alison Keery, Roxanne Korpan and Amanda Pye, takes inspiration from the View from Here Series by visual artist Wanda Koop. Through landscape-inspired tableaus and movement, Candice is delving into the obsolete purpose of humans from the perspective of our environment.

Body Stories will be performing during the first weekend of the festival from September 7th to 9th at The Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary AB.

Tickets range from $24-$46 and can be purchased online or at the door.
